My name is Elsy Makhlouf and I’m the Owner and CEO of Lively Public Relations.
I am a trilingual public relations practitioner with a demonstrated work experience in the federal government and not-for-profit sectors. I have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a double minor in Management and Marketing from Mount Saint Vincent University.
After receiving a lot of support from the community and achieving recognition through multiple scholarships, awards and nominations from MSVU, Canadian Public Relations Society of NS, Lebanese Chamber of Commerce, and the National Research Council of Canada, I decided to start my own company, Lively Public Relations and Branding Inc.
My goal is to keep growing my company, while participating in the growth and success of other local businesses. I love to help clients reach their desired spotlight and help them find valuable and lasting connections with the community and further.

I studied vocals, music theory and classical guitar for 6 years, and have performed in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, PEI and New Foundland & Labrador.
Zeina Klayme Social Media Specialist
My name is Zeina Klayme, and I’m the Social Media Specialist for Lively Public Relations – where we help you bring your brand to life!
I’m the daughter of two immigrant parents who taught me the value of hard-work and perseverance. I am the result of their dedication and hope for a better life; their Canadian Dream. Everything I do is to make my family proud.
I am the wife to a loving husband, a sister and the aunt of not one, not two, but three amazing boys. Writing is where my heart lives. I got the bug to become a writer at an early age and decided to jump in full- throttle with my career. I started my career in Journalism – studying at the University of King’s College. I enrolled in F.Y.P and completed the Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) program (4-year program). I went on to work at CTV Atlantic, and became the first Lebanese- Canadian individual to ever appear on-air at the station. I have worked in magazine and television, and now I have made the shift to brand-marketing! I believe hard work and enjoyment go hand-in-hand. You have to love what you do, that’s when you get the best results!
Fun facts about me: - I speak three languages: English, French and Arabic. - I love to travel… Palm trees are the equivalence of happiness to me! - I am a major advocate for women and women’s rights.
